So today at work someone said something to me that shouldn't have been a big deal, but it really was to me. There's this girl at work who I've always kinda had some sort of feeling for. And yes, I realize I do that often I do flirt with everyone and anyone. But any way this girl said something along the lines of "you aren't interested in me anyway, cause you treat me like everyone else". And it got me thinking do I like her the same as everyone else? To tell the truth I looked inward in a very sudden moment and realized that perhaps she might even be what I'm looking for in a girl. She does always make me laugh, and she did look so cute at work tonight. So I got to thinking, you know we never really have talked seriously, so she probably thinks I'm a big jokester who has no real feelings for people. She looked so attractive today and here I am thinking she sees me as just an ass. I'm wondering how this came to be such a topic, but I guess it was because she said something like "you see me the same as everyone else" Truthfully we had never had a serious talk before, and I'm really shitty at initially talking to someone. So I ended up getting real quiet and just kinda shut down. Here was this girl who I guess i kinda always liked and she was shoving it in my face. Then she thought I was lying about being hurt, which really pissed me off. I told her I was not lying and she was like "I'm a smart girl, I know better". I told her "I know you're a smart girl...believe me, there aren't many out there, but you're wrong about this." She left while i was on lunch, but she did leave me a message on my computer with her cell phone number if I wanted to talk with the phrase "I don't understand you Cody." The reality is that she's beautiful and smart, and i just never really thought about it before. Sigh. Who knows. Maybe she'll come online...I'd like to talk to her.

Well, I had my surprise birthday party on Saturday night. I stole the pic of the cake from Katies journal, but it was a blast. I love those guys so much. Good crowd too, Karen, Kates, Nate, Cory, Lars, Jamie, Danielle, and Matt. We just played one game of Trivial Pursuit DVD Pop Culture, but it was fun. I messed up my shift that day, which threw everything off. A ton of food, and a good time. Thanks guys, it was awesome, even if I am halfway to 50, no one I'd rather be there with!

Well i'm back online finally. Enough said about that...long time coming.

A few updates.

Had today off, making it only 32 days of work in a row between the two jobs. Sad really, I was hoping to make or break my record from September/October of 35 days in a row.

Trying to get Matt Fleming into StarCraft. I'm one third through the games myself.

We are playing a game of winter or "Tundra Frisbee" this coming Wednesday at Lower Harbor.

I'm meeting a few awesome new people. One in particular seems pretty BA. More on that to come?

Well Halloween has come and gone, and with it my totally awesome costume. I dyed my hair black, though it didn't stick, and put the makeup on twice. Once for school, which my students loved, and once again for Walmart, which was a big hit again. If you like it, you should vote for me at Walmart by putting money in my container (#22) so that I win! The money goes towards the Children's Miracle Network, and the winners get gift cards, so its a win-win situation.

In other news, I used my birthday discount at Wallyworld to buy myself a new computer. Yay! No, I'm not typing this on it (sadly), but soon I will be online and it will kick major ass, considering it has been over a year and a half since I've been online. Good stuff.

The Nasty Candy Contest at the K place (katie and karen's) was a real hit. And god did a lot of the candy suck. It was a delightful night of nastiness. I didn't go out for Halloween, but thanks for the many people who invited me. Truth is, I was pretty sick for the better part of six days, and am only recently feeling up and at it again.

I guess that will do it for now, here's hoping I have more good news soon!
